MODEL AGENCY AGREEMENT
1. APPOINTMENT & REPRESENTATION
1.1 The Model appoints the Agency as their [exclusive/non-exclusive] agent for the purpose of securing modeling assignments.
1.2 This Agreement will commence as soon the contract has been approved and on rolling terms unless terminated.
1.3 The Model agrees to keep the Agency informed of availability, contact details, and any material changes affecting representation.


2. AGENCY FEES & COMMISSION
2.1 Portfolio and registration Fees, and commission to be discussed once application has been approved and accepted.
2.2 The Model agrees that the Agency may deduct its commission before making payments.
2.3 The Agency will not charge upfront fees for inclusion in its books, in compliance with UK law.


3. MODEL’S OBLIGATIONS
3.1 The Model agrees to:
• Act professionally and responsibly in all assignments.
• Attend all booked jobs and castings on time.
• Maintain a suitable appearance for assignments.
• Not engage in any work that could bring the Agency into disrepute.
3.2 The Model is responsible for any expenses (e.g., travel, accommodation) unless otherwise agreed.


4. PAYMENT TERMS
4.1 The Agency will process the Model’s payments once received from clients. Payments are typically made within 4 weeks.
4.2 The Model is responsible for declaring and paying their own taxes.


5. IMAGE USAGE & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
5.1 The Model grants clients and the Agency a license to use images from booked assignments for up to 24 months, unless otherwise stated.
5.2 The Model must obtain prior consent from the Agency before engaging in any competing work.
5.3 The Agency retains copyright over portfolio images unless assigned otherwise.


6. LIABILITY & INDEMNITY
6.1 The Agency is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage suffered by the Model while performing assignments, unless due to the Agency’s negligence.
6.2 The Model is responsible for securing personal insurance if desired.


7. TERMINATION & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
7.1 Either party may terminate this Agreement by giving 30 days written notice.
7.2 The Agency may terminate this Agreement immediately if the Model breaches professional standards or engages in misconduct.
7.3 Any disputes will first be resolved through mediation before legal proceedings are considered.


8. GENERAL PROVISIONS
8.1 This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior understanding.
8.2 The Model agrees to comply with UK laws, including the Employment Agencies Act 1973.
